Punda milia is swahili for zebra. It's part of the horse family, Equidae, native to central and southern Africa. The Zebra is well known for its distinctive black and white stripes, it is a pretty animal. It reminds me that life has more than one side. In Uganda poverty is high and there are difficult situations but life goes on. Uganda is an interesting and lovely country, the Pearl of Africa, it is. This blog attempts to share various conditions of coping with life in the country.

Old man
Great beard, once was black now its white (grey). Its master confortably sits in a taxi and reads as he waits for other passengers to occupy all seats before the vehicle can carry them to their destinations.
