Punda milia is swahili for zebra. It's part of the horse family, Equidae, native to central and southern Africa. The Zebra is well known for its distinctive black and white stripes, it is a pretty animal. It reminds me that life has more than one side. In Uganda poverty is high and there are difficult situations but life goes on. Uganda is an interesting and lovely country, the Pearl of Africa, it is. This blog attempts to share various conditions of coping with life in the country.

Ovacado a rich and lucky fruit
The ovacada is a fruit tree, that will survive in most puts of the Uganda. It has nutritious fruits and will even survive being cut for fire wood as most family members would always like to enjoy its fruits.
